Our Team

Sarah Weber Gallo is Dance Education Director at Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken, NJ, where she has built a thriving dance academy in service of the community and the professional theatre.  She is currently dancing in her 25th season with the Metropolitan Opera, where she has enjoyed the honor of working with such esteemed world-renowned choreographers and directors as Christopher Wheeldon, Benjamin Millepied, Michael Mayer, Julie Taymor, Mary Zimmerman, Graciela Danielle, André Serban, Robert LePage, Doug Varone, Mark Dendy, and Sean Curran.  In addition to her performing work at the Met, Sarah has a deep history of volunteerism, advocacy, and activism in her decades-long roles as AGMA Union Delegate and dance co-chair of the negotiating committee.  

She is a former Radio City Rockette and holds an M.F.A. in Dance from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and a B.A. in Psychology from Goucher College.  Honors include a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Finalist Award for Choreography (2023), the New York Indie Film Festival Audience Choice Award for her concert film of “The Magic Hour” (2022), the New JerseyTheatre Alliance Award for Excellence in Arts Education (2020), and the University of Wisconsin at MilwaukeeNew Works Award (2016).

Sarah is Resident Choreographer at Mile Square Theatre and Artistic Director of SWG/dancetheatre, and her theatrical and concert dance choreography has been presented nationally and internationally.  She is currently on faculty at Montclair State University, NJCU, and the Joffrey School of Ballet.

Kerri-Ann Simone Munoz is a nonprofit leader, arts administrator, and dance educator dedicated to advancing New Jersey's dance community through advocacy, education, and collaboration. With more than a decade of experience in fundraising, program development, and community engagement, she has connected artists, educators, students, and organizations through initiatives that expand access to dance across the state.

Her leadership has expanded statewide professional development for dance educators, strengthened support for teaching artists and K–12 schools, cultivated strategic partnerships, and elevated festivals and programs that celebrate the richness and diversity of dance in New Jersey. Guided by the belief that dance is a catalyst for education, creativity, and connection, she is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where artists and communities can thrive.

Before relocating to New Jersey, Kerri-Ann founded Simone Says Dance, an after-school dance program in South Florida that partnered with schools and community leaders to bring quality dance education to young people. That entrepreneurial spirit continues to shape her collaborative approach to arts leadership.

Kerri-Ann holds an Associate of Arts in Dance from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Business from Miami International University of Art & Design. She remains committed to ensuring dance continues to be a vibrant, accessible, and valued part of New Jersey's cultural landscape.

Kelly Guerrero is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and arts administrator. She holds a BFA in Dance and Minor in Business from Montclair State University, where she received a Choreographic Excellence award. Her work has been presented in various festivals in Missouri, New Jersey, and New York. She is currently dancing with The Moving Architects, a NJ/NYC based dance company. Kelly has been working with Dance New Jersey since 2021.

Ian Kent (He/Him) is a dancer and choreographer based in Belle Mead, NJ. Kent is currently earning his B.A. in Dance Performance from Rider University where he trains in many ballet, modern, and contemporary artforms. Throughout his first year at Rider, Kent has performed in works by Danielle Mondi and Jessica Rodriguez as well student works by Koy Withers, Marissa Stellato, and Aniky Salima. He is also earning a second major with a B.A. in Arts & Entertainment Industries Management, combining his love for dance with knowledge about nonprofit arts organizations. Kent is very excited to be a part of the Dance New Jersey team and help dancers, teachers, and choreographers around NJ stay connected.
