To preserve, document and disseminate the folklore traditions of our heritage: Puerto Rico's drum and dance music genres known as la Bomba (most afrocentric) and la Plena (genre known as the singing newspaper sharing stories of events). Done through live performance, education, preservation and building in communities that helps to serve broader needs of education and creativity and holding space for healing through music and dancing.
