The Ed.M. in Dance Education program at the Graduate School of Education is designed for experienced PK-12 dance educators who wish to deepen their knowledge in the discipline and advance in the field. The Ed.M. Degree in Dance Education was established in 2010 through a collaborative partnership between The Graduate School of Education and the Mason Gross School of the Arts, two independently operated schools within Rutgers on the New Brunswick campus. It is the first graduate program in dance in the state of New Jersey and one of the only programs in the nation that combine conservatory-level training, a master's degree and teacher certification.
