Keisa Parrish has been a dance educator and choreographer for the past 27 years, she has helped to develop dance programs for over 15 years and used to judge dance competitions for over 12 years. Her dance journey started in Los Angeles studying commercial and concert dance, working with the likes of Debbie Allen and Michael Jackson and where she attended the infamous Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She is a graduate of the Fordham University/ Alvin Ailey BFA program, which she completed while dancing professionally as a Radio City Rockette in the Christmas Spectacular. For the past 25 years, since living in NYC, Keisa has worked with amazing organizations including Harlem School of the Arts, where she was a teacher and also the Assistant Dance Director. Next Step Broadway, where she was the Manager, Assistant Artistic Director and an instructor. Keisa has been an adjunct professor at New York City College and guest teacher at Princeton University. Judged and Emceed at Elite Dance Challenge Competition, Dancers Inc. Competition, Backstage Competition and many more. Keisa was the former New Jersey Director of scholarship program Distinguished Young Women and has taught and choreographed at many dance schools all over the Tri-State area. As a certified Yoga/Pilates/TRX instructor who’s been teaching fitness and wellness classes/workshops for over 15 years, she’s been featured in Fitness Magazine, on Pix 11 Morning News, NBC New York and Buzzfeed. And in 2020, Keisa founded Luebirta & Kaleonani Inc, a dance and wellness company that facilitates college and career prep programs, organization and curriculum development for Dance businesses, and teaches stress alleviation practices to help women prioritize their wellbeing.
